Season Sets are the way to go but companies such as disney don't realize there error. Also the reason for Buena Vista entertainment owning the rights to all of the marvel productions licences is because Saban Entertainment owned them from Marvel Production studios which went bankrupt in 1997, which of course was bought out by Saban Entertainment which now gave them the rights to there entire catalog of marvel heroes including the 1992 X-men animated series well not to shortly after Saban aquired the rights to Marvel productions they too went bankrupt which in turn was bought out by you guessed it right Buena Vista home entertainment which is a subsidiary of Disney Entertainment which now gave them all the rights from the previous companies, that's why X-Men animated series got the shaft because Disney doesn't want there company associated with the voilence in the cartoon. Fast forward 17 years later and now you got the DVD's finally being released because Marvel Inc was sueing Disney for there rights to there catalog and X-Men animated series back, Marvel of course won the Suit which in turn now gave Marvel the chance to release this almost long forgotten series to DVD. There are also rumors flying abound that Volume 3 will be released soon which will have the rest of Seasons 3 and all of season 4, Volume 4 hasn't been talked about yet but it's pretty obvious that they will release the last 8 episodes which season 5 lasted for and there you have the entire series of X-Men The animated series released on DVD. Also there have been no press releases stating about Blu-Ray copies of this also being released I think it's pretty safe to say that there isn't enough demand for this to be pushed on Blu-Ray as the quality of the show was sub-standard to even put on Blu-Ray alone, and yes your right about the bootlegs selling much better than conventional DVD releases which in my opionion is sad and sucks because they are horribly compressed onto 4 discs which is just barely watchable like you mention in your vid. I certianly hope that one day people will look upon this possible money making situation as well in the future because after all it was partly Marvel to blame for allowing there Marvel Animation Studio from going bankrupt, there's only one explanation for this happening. Either Marvel poured such a huge and significant amount of money into producing the series thus the quality of voice acting and animation overall in and throughout the series. The only niggle I had with the series was the different animation style they chose for the 5th season which is absolutely horrible. In my opinion it looks like the first beginnings of the animation style almost used for X-Men Evolution which was aired on YTV here in Canada. Well farewell for now I hope this posting answers some of your burning questions.

Cheers ;-)
Eric

eric_cornish@hotmail.comEric Cornishhttp://eric-netrunner.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752176234373514122.post-11569413637801880862009-05-10T12:49:00.000-07:002009-05-10T12:49:00.000-07:00i think that you should try to play resident evil ...i think that you should try to play resident evil 5. its like the best game ever but still has its ups and downs but so does ever other good gameAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13393542190237155188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752176234373514122.post-80453739112519207572009-05-05T11:35:00.000-07:002009-05-05T11:35:00.000-07:00i really liked the show exosqaud and if the 2nd se...i really liked the show exosqaud and if the 2nd season hasn't come out yet u could go 2 hulu.com and watch every episode there. if u have not seen this i recomend that u c it rite nowAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13393542190237155188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752176234373514122.post-35060219280823647162009-05-05T11:33:00.000-07:002009-05-05T11:33:00.000-07:00i watched ExoSqaud and it wasn't really that bad i...i watched ExoSqaud and it wasn't really that bad i mean its really got a good story line. i say more people need to watch ExoSqaud. and you can see this at hulu.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13393542190237155188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752176234373514122.post-44512295404145561872009-01-27T20:18:00.000-08:002009-01-27T20:18:00.000-08:00hey man, I've watched almost all of your vids for ...hey man, I've watched almost all of your vids for Dead Space and I have to say that I've thoroughly enjoyed all of them and would love to see more, personally, I'm on Chapter 10 on Hard and its cool to watch other people deal with the same crazy shit this game has to offer. so basically make some more vids if you could!fissure16https://www.blogger.com/profile/04022686936713572553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752176234373514122.post-84753191743066627172009-01-03T08:39:00.000-08:002009-01-03T08:39:00.000-08:00Hello I enjoyed your review of Batman Begins. The general consensus amongst the fans who watched it is that my assessment was absolutely correct. Voltron was heavily censored in comparison to the original Go Lion series, and this demonstrated some of the "verbal censoring" that often took place in Voltron to try to cover up otherwise horrific events in the series. That's why I chose this episode specifically.

World Events Productions even has their own YouTube page, in which they posted several videos showing the typical ways in which Voltron was censored in comparison to the original Go Lion series.

I appreciate that you're simply trying to justify it all based on the characters, but that wasn't the point of this edition of my videos. The point was to give an in-depth example of some of the typical censorship that took place on the show, and how they danced around otherwise disturbing content to keep it all "kiddie-safe." This episode was most DEFINITELY censored. Heavily. The original uncensored Go Lion series is now available on DVD. Take a look for yourself and see the differences.Zaranyzerakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17853304161395908264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752176234373514122.post-4078387083560150192008-12-03T18:24:00.000-08:002008-12-03T18:24:00.000-08:00No offense intended, but I think you're mistaken a...No offense intended, but I think you're mistaken about some of the things you say about the Voltron episode "Pidge's Home Planet". Firstly, the Voltron Force were clearly being sarcastic in all their "praise" of Kurran (I think that's how his name is spelled). The only one who actually believed they were being saluted is Pidge, because he's young and naieve. Secondly, when Pidge commented "It looks like all the people got away to another planet", this could be interpreted as wishful thinking on his part. After all, in his position wouldn't you be in denial? Thirdly, when Keith later seems to confirm Pidge's remark, maybe he's just humoring him. Also, considering Kurran's personality in this episode, maybe HE was being sarcastic in his order to "give them a proper sendoff," and he was actually giving the command to fire. Of course, that sounds more like something Zarkon would say, but hey...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752176234373514122.post-18968557429729415202008-11-02T10:23:00.000-08:002008-11-02T10:23:00.000-08:00i love the mooni love the moonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752176234373514122.post-45920019965204954612008-10-22T03:00:00.000-07:002008-10-22T03:00:00.000-07:00hey saw your vid on youtube on Dead Space. I actually dress in rags because i can't seem to be able to buy clothes. Like yourself i also had alot of VHS, but i sold them also to get more dvds. And i haven't looked back since.
I bought 15 this month, and like 20 the month before that. If i was a millionair, i would have my own home theatre, a room devoted soley to dvds and ofcourse some clothes that i so desperatley need.
Anyway, i'm just letting you know i find your blogspot interesting, i shall be visiting and reading your blogs now and again to see new threads? is that what we call them these days, posts, whatever.. you get my driftlayy.
We're not alone. But yes, I'm a HUGE fan of the genre, as is probably pretty obvious by now. :) Oh, and by "he's in the 50's" I was referring the the story number, not the year. The original series actually ran from 1963-89 (26 seasons), and the new series is just wrapping up the 4th season.

I'll actually be doing a more in-depth doctor Who video at some point, aimed at newer fans or those curious about the show and not sure where to begin.
